Ok, so Jed had his first school project. Part 1 was to design a wigwam (sort of like a round house) and part 2 was to make a Native American costume. Jed is learning about Native Americans in Social Studies. So, Danette thought of something for the costume and I thought of something for the wigwam. We went to Wal-Mart and got to work. Now, let it be said, I was very skeptical of the costume and thought I would have to spend money twice, once on the stuff for the costume and once for the costume professionally made by others. I have to admit, that I had to eat my words...although it might not look like it from these two photos, the homemade costume turned out great and Jed loved it! Fun stuff.
